I headed out this morning to see if the geese were in a better spot for photos this morning. They had crossed the road from where people saw the snow goose on the weekend, and that made it easier to get photos. No fence in the way and I was able to stay in my truck and only be about 50 feet away from where they were.
I also stopped at Morash Pond to get some photos of the gadwalls that are there. No reports from anyone seeing the redhead duck yesterday.
I had a phone call from my former landlord today. I didn't answer it, so he sent me an email. He had a talk with a lawyer friend of his, and I guess his friend told him that he would lose at the tenancy board hearing. Theft is not damage so it would be thrown out. Since he did not tell me at the time when he replaced the storm door and when he paid me after I had to call a plumber, then he cannot withhold my damage deposit for either of those. I will go over tomorrow afternoon and get a cheque from him. I will have to make sure it clears my account before I cancel the tenancy board hearing.
