Why do they not stop you going on the M80 when it is at a stand still because of an earlier accident?

As soon as we were on the slip road we saw it was backed up…but your committed by this time. And no matter how tempting it is reversing back the hard shoulder back to the Pirnhall roundabout is an illegal manoeuvre not to mention incredibly dangerous…eejits!

I was heading to a dinner and MrR was being my taxi. We were fortunate that by the time we joined the carriageways had been cleared but traffic was still very slow…a number of miles travelled at 5mph…some more at 15mph before it started to clear a bit round about the Haggs junction.

I missed the drinks reception, but did make the First Minister’s speech and the dinner!
