Sunrise at Spike Island

The temptation of a lovely sunrise at Spike Island had me up and out at 7.15am. Just after the sun was up and I'd taken a few shots, I met Kath and her camera, who I've not seen for ages. We used to often see each other at the unofficial "feeding station" on the lookout for the woodpeckers especially. I must have spent well over an hour standing and chatting to her which meant that I was late to my mum's to do her hair as I didn't realise the time. 
Back home now and waiting for hubby to let me know what time he needs picking up from the train station.
