Cold grey and windy continues with 16ºC and N wind @ 10mph. Our outdoor performance of "the Burial At Thebes" - Antigone - also continues with two performances today, one at 3.30 and another at 7.30. I was 'Front of House' manager for the evening performance. Whilst the audience were swaddled in multitudinous layers, wrapped in blankets, some of the cast (including these girls) dressed in exotic silks in highly saturated blues and reds, are performing barefoot in our marble floored 'Forum' amphitheater - but teenagers are made of pretty strong stuff and all was well, in spite of the cold. The audience was small, but appreciative and oh-so attentive and I was much enthralled at the sight of teenagers much enthralled at, in and with Greek Tragedy.
