A fallen tree and a diversion

I picked the wrong time to leave Waterloo today, less than an hour after a tree fell on the line at Longcross.

The cue for chaos... limited information, delays, and a choice of a bus or an alternative destination.

I have a bike but am reluctant to tackle an extra long journey in the dark and in the rain... Therefore I have called for my wonderful son with a full driving license and a car which I kindly provided :-)
