Chandelier
I mustered up the energy to go to Te Ara Atea (my library/gallery/museum/community space) amd pick up my books on reserve. They arrived on reserve at the same time as covid. I was keen to get them before they expired.
On a whim I checked out some of the latest art exhibition. I tired quickly but was pleased with what I managed.
This is a new commission by the artist Judy Darragh. It's made of recycled plastics that form a drooping chandelier as they strain against the mesh that holds them. It's fascinating and quite a statement.
I shuffled off home and had a rest. Such is life on the covid recovery road.
