The original pipeline from the storage lake to the water treatment plant passes through a tunnel  at this point. The pipe is round and much smaller that the bigger one lower down the side of the hill, on top of which I run. Climbing the rough hill track was more tiring today than I expected. Because there is so much mud and avoiding it (to minimise the risk of falling) took me on some steeper bits with a need for large steps.Earlier this year I would have been very pleased to have managed the circuit as well as I did it today.
