A resting day

Saturday was a day of football and the ever wonderful leftovers from thanksgiving. I recently picked up crocheting again and I decided to experiment with using embroidery threads. One is garden flowers for my youngest sister and one is a remembrance of Cuban colors and blue sky for my eldest sister. I realized later that one reminds me of dirndls in Bavaria. Quiet memories.
