Super Saturday

Started the day with a full on early swim but when I climbed out into the chilly air to change, my phone pinged with the great news that HatBox had passed her driving test. So I got dressed really quickly so that I could message back but only realised I’d put my clothes on inside out when I got home (by bus — oh dear). What a numpty!

Jobs jobs and jobs and then a trip with my MIL to see Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘The Yeoman of the Guard’ at the London Coliseum.

Always a treat. But the Arts Council have just announced that they will be no longer be funding The ENO. So there was a G&S style operatic plea at the end to sign a petition that was so clever!
