This is Bedford's commemoration of local lad, Bishop Trevor Huddleston, who died in 1998.
It was unveiled in 2020 by Nelson Mandela who said that “No white person has done more for South Africa than Trevor Huddleston.”
It's a shame that Bedford seems to be so obsessed with John Bunyan, we have several other noteworthy local heroes.
