Noor

This statue of SOE agent Noor Inayat Khan, unveiled in 2012,  is reportedly the first freestanding memorial to a woman of Asian background anywhere in the UK . She's hidden away in Gordon Square near Euston Station close to her childhood home. The inscription on one side reads:- 
" Noor Inayat Khan was an SOE agent infiltrated into occupied France. She was executed at Dachau Concentration Camp . Her last word was LIBERTE"
