GWR stones

Stopped by the National Railway Museum on our way home. I do love poking around in the side hall to see what random stuff we can find. Todays gem was this collection of stone samples from places served by the Great Western Railway.
After reminiscing about the golden age of steam we headed back home and suffered the current state of the railways!
3.5 hours from York to London. Luckily C got a seat but H and I were on the floor in the doorway. Then HS1 isn’t running so we are on a stop everywhere train back to Folky. Still a great weekend though :-)
