Cocktail #44 of 50: Queen Mother

Three in a row! I wish I was making the same finishing progress with my other ‘year of being fifty’ project of walking/cycling Route 66 which needs some serious miles put in with 30 days to go (but I intend to find a way to do it even if I’m out in the rain!).

Today’s cocktail was most acceptable but not amazing:
2 measure Dubonnet (Queen mother’s favourite tipple)
1 measure gin
Stir over ice and add a wheel of lemon

Nothing else good today. It rained and we both had a full day’s work to get done to get on top of tough work to-do lists between now and Christmas. So we repaired to our offices and cracked on all day with frequent coffee breaks. Feel slightly more under control and definitely not doing another weekend this year.
