Sale Fell

During lockdown we walked Sale Fell at least once a week…just a 10 minute drive from Cockermouth. We never saw a soul, so we couldn’t get, or spread Covid.

It was quite chilly today in that strong wind…one shower, too…so we walked around and up Sale fell. Nice woodland near the start…no red squirrels today.

The extra shows Skiddaw, Ullock Pike, and Dodd,across from Bass Lake, with Keswick to the right of the picture.

We enjoyed our picnic lunch out of the wind!
