Drove over to G and Cs for 9.30 for C and me to go to the winter market at Welbeck(another of theDukeries estates, close to where I was
yesterday). She wasn’t ready , but we eventually set off, stopping at the very nice but pricey farm shop on the way . Market was good - a very large marquee where all the craft stalls were ( bought a couple of Christmas presents) and an outdoor food market. The permanent studios on the estate were open, so we looked in an organ restorers, clock maker and restorers, stain d glass restorers, jewellery makers, recycling sculptor and printers. Had lunch from a stall ran by the allotment shop that C goes to.
I got home about 3.30 and went straight out to the greengrocer- forgot to get veg from the farm shop!
It started to pour down as I was walking there and I got completely soaked. Got a decent photo on the way there though- all the ones from Welbeck were very dull. Rain had stopped by the time I got home- very bad timing on my part!
