A distinctive sound that carries quite some distance as does the ball when hit well.
I heard the ball being struck while walking Kasper so took a detour to investigate and found a red ball game being played and I would have been interested in staying and watching if the skies were not so full of rain.
Year 11 & 12 Boy's v Nelson Ramblers which is information that is so hard to come by and it shouldn't be!
It frustrates me that we in Tasman and Nelson have this fantastic venue at Saxton Field covering cricket, athletics, hockey, softball, baseball, basketball, netball, shooting, cycling, football, badminton, table tennis and many more but none of it its easily advertised which must affect attendance.
