Rancid

I got this ankle bracelet when I was on holiday in Dahab, Egypt in November. In Dahab the little Bedouin girls sell these round the town. It has been on me ever since as a little reminder of my holiday.

But today I was thinking how long that had been there and how rancid it now probably was. Well it is doused in chlorine three times a week so maybe that keeps the nastiness out. But certainly the one from last time only lasted half as long before dropping off...
