Creative Endeavours

I enjoyed a longer lie this morning and then attended to social media for various groups I am involved in - mainly sharing pictures of different trees and encouraging people to come along to the Christmas Tree Festival. 

I returned there myself this afternoon -  firstly to see all the trees fully assembled for myself and then to help one of the stalls. 

It was a good afternoon - a real sense of the wider community coming together and raising money for a range of charities. 

I also continued with Mango Languages for my Gaelic practice. There is a strong emphasis on pronunciation which is what I am wanting to focus on at present. You can even record yourself saying a phrase and compare your recording with that provided. You normally have to pay a subscription for Mango but it is free for "endangered and indigenous languages".

 I have a venison casserole cooking in the slow cooker for tonight and a rather nice Spanish red opened to go with it.
