The last dance

Today Cecile brought a bouquet of old ballet shoes along ... we photographed, tried different settings and so on.
Unfortunately we did not have a lot of time or natural sunlight at our disposal... still it was a lovely exercise.

After I had downloaded the images, I could not help but wonder about the girl who once danced with these shoes .. did she have dreams and whatever became of them?
