Oak tree

I hope you've all had the same sunny November day as we've enjoyed in Cambridgeshire. Out on the common in the next village there are lots of young oak trees that have been heavy with acorns but are now seriously thinking about going to sleep for winter. Leaves seem reluctant to fall this year, contrary to what everyone thought would happen after such a hot summer; the oaks here have still got most of theirs. It was hard to choose between the three marching oaks in extras or the mono, but in the end the noirish one with its long shadows won out.
