Friday Walk

After visiting the seal viewing areas in the dunes at Horsey Gap yesterday we wanted to be able to actually walk on a (usually) seal-free beach today so drove back up to Cart Gap & walked up to Happisburgh on the shore & back on the cliff path. Beautiful weather - a pity we had to go home afterwards!

We did the same on the way home last year, & what a difference a year has made to the beach. Last year we were clambering over a complex grid of groynes, this year the sand has shifted & buried most of them - see the extra for a view of one groyne at low tide. Coastal processes at work!
