Honister Pass

This is the view down Honister Pass from Honister Slate Mine.

We enjoyed cappuccinos and apple cake at the slate mine cafe!

Before that we went to see The Bowder Stone ( see extra photos ). Ros is on top of The Bowder Stone ( an erratic from when there was a glacier here…)

We had our picnic lunch out of the cold wind by the river Derwent, which runs through the valley near The Bowder Stone.
