Orange Bogey Man Spotted in Milngavie

Dropped in to the Lillie Art Gallery in Milngavie today to see the Joan Eardley exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of her death.
The Lillie has an amazing collection of Eardleys given by the artist's family.
It's mainly sketches on show but the phenomenal oil, Floodtide, is the the star of the show.
Hung alongside it is Edwin Morgan's poem of the same name.
Also on show in the main gallery is a riot of energetic artwork made by the kids who go to the Saturday morning art classes in the Lillie.
This guy, by Kirsten McLean, caught my eye. And you can see why!!
