.................the (I think!) Long Eared Owl at the rescue Centre. He shares the accommodation and care with the Eagle Owl I posted on the 28th February last. Unusually, their regular Carer was not on hand today and the young woman there. who was standing in for him, was just taking the donations for a few hours and that's why I'm not absolutely sure what sort he is. Had a look in Google and that was the nearest I could find although I understand that his tufts are not actually his ears. He had been rescued, as had the Eagle Owl, from neglect and under feeding and is now doing well. What IS the matter with people!!!!!

Thought the weather was on the turn but we're back to dark clouds. spits of rain and a very cold feeling wind. Temperature is about 11 deg. C.
