Beetroot

As a traditional person I love to grow traditional plants in our allotment garden. One of them is beetroot or table root. This year they growed well, although we were much away, in the countryside. Or maybe that was the reason for it, they weren't cared for too much:) However one not so good thing happened, some of them had had time to grow too long and they were beginning flowering. They aren't usable then anymore. But I hadn't seen even a flower bud of a beetroot before, now I did.
