Dental hospital

Yet again I took CyclopsJnr out of school early today, this time to attend the dental hospital.

It was just a consultation but it took aaaaages. The examination was pretty thorough, and they were very kind and chatty to put CyclopsJnr at ease, then after the consultation we needed to wait for sign-off of the plan by the senior dentist. Verdict is as anticipated, which is fine, they will complete the root canal at the dental hospital in due course then they will whiten his tooth back. This could be two or three appointments and will likely be after Christmas, but there is no longer any urgency after our own dentist has done the first part. CyclopsJnr was again very casual about the whole thing, and was talkative but polite with the staff.

We had been going to go to a coffee shop in town after the appointment but it was nearly 5pm when we got out so I offered CyclopsJnr an alternative of having a Happy Meal for his tea. Of course he snapped that offer up. We then meandered along Princes Street a bit and browsed a few shops of his choice - mostly Scottish themed tourist shops.

In other news CyclopsJnr spoke at P3/4 assembly today on behalf of the Charity Committee, and he was given a special 'Charity Rep' badge to wear on his uniform.
