Birthday Boy

But he's a bit under the weather with a cold.  We've both had a very lazy day as I'm also feeling a bit off.  The dogs had settled down with Jamie but were alert to my move!   

Before going over to Jamie's I made another batch of ginger marmalade and readied the spare room for Ruth who's arrived with their Mum who's staying with Jamie for a couple of days.  Yesterday I had made two sponge cakes and today I combined them along with butter icing and assorted chocolates to help celebrate the day.   

Hoping to feel more energetic tomorrow.   The weather is forecast fair, unlike today which has seen strong winds and stormy showers for much of the time after a spell of torrential rain this morning and Meg is due a decent walk.
