Our son-in-law had a day off today so took us to Maidens this morning (my husband is still waiting for the results from the hospital to know if he is fit to drive). We stopped at The Smithy on the way and had coffee along with French toast with maple syrup …… delicious. By the time we got there the rain was very heavy so it was lovely to go into a nice, bright, cheerful place.
