Liberation Day

Today is the 68th year of celebrating freedom from our island being occupied by invading forces from 1940-1945. It is a public holiday in the Channel Islands and several events are going on. We went to see the Liberation parade this morning (several photos here) my blip is part of the static display of army vehicles that formed a cavalcade later on in the day.
