Village in a Downpour.

Saw a very thorough and lovely practice nurse. today. I was with her for about half an hour. Can't really complain at that. Probably going to be referred for a endoscopy due to my symptoms and age! A right pain getting old.

Went to drop and pick up my prescription and the heavens opened. Got totally soaked. I know the lady in the chemist, she said the hot water bottles are flying off the shelves. I have visions of most of the country hugging hot water bottles each evening. Maybe this heating crisis will do more good for reducing global warming than anything else. We're all going back to how we lived as children with no central heating in houses.
