An Interesting Walk
The weather was nice this morning if a bit cool when we started off.
We passed the piece of ground which has three times had the request for housing been rejected (on appeal) due to the ground being contaminated, having tree preservation orders and bats (amongst other wildlife like foxes and badgers) as well as the water and drainage authority stating that they are already at capacity.
The Scottish Government has overruled the refusal and rejected appeal and 18 (very expensive houses) are to be built on it -- all of it! All the trees have been removed.
My addiction to blurred trees, feathers where they land, seeing creatures in the trees and others kind of went into overdrive.
When I spotted a couple of strange faces stuck on a garden fence, I had to take pictures of them for SWMBO (she is too small to see over the fence). Somebody else who couldn't see over the fence did his best to see us under the gate ... (there are other pictures over there).
After we got home I did some pyrography on the boxes I have made for all of the grandkids. They have also been given some sanding sealer and (hopefully) they will be finished tomorrow.
