Outside the Tate Modern, London

We only had time to pop into the Tate Modern briefly and check out the turbine hall work. It nicely shows how high the hall is if you stand in the middle and look up, but apart from that we weren't too impressed. Right outside, we went down the avenue of trees and looked up at the night sky. Then walked down the South Bank in a touristy manner to Tower Bridge, which we got to see open for a boat.
