Spring has Sprung...

Once David and Alan were gone, John and I had tea and buttered toast and marmalade and marvelled at the beautiful morning. Blue skies and sunshine, most unexpected.

Quite tidy up of the kitchen after John left then out into the garden with my camera. I can't believe the difference a couple of days of sunshine has made. All the little tree buds have burst open and the blossom and early summer flowers were parading their beauty in the breeze. I was giddy with the lovelines of it all and spent a very enjoyable half hour with my camera, trying to capture the best of it.

Just as I was heading indoors I passed this little patch of leaves in the shadow of the garden wall and the raindrops from an early morning shower were glistening silver, like mercury. Well you know me, I can't resist a water drop shot, so all my pics of the lovely flowers will have to be retaken another day if they are to be blipped.

More work on my Blip Spring Swap this afternoon then a gentle slide into Friday.

PS Just noticed last year's blip is also a waterdrop garden shot. Spooky how often that kind of coincidence happens!
