Sparkling in the sunshine

I was supposed to be working at home today but the student I was to see cancelled at the last minute.  Mary and I were supposed to meet someone in the Eastgate today but they didn’t turn up either - so all in all, a bit of an odd day. Never mind, I did some things I hadn’t planned to do including a quick walk when the sun came out briefly at lunchtime
