Damp start to the day, more showers forecast and heavier showers with more prolonged rain later – so a day in the ‘office’ for me. The view out of the window is rather terrific on days like these, and a reminder that tghere is plenty of colour in the world even though I love to post black and whites.
Unexpected phone calls on the landline to sort out the manhole we’d unearthed when we were removing the rockery a couple of weeks ago, also had a safety recall notice for the five-year-old car advising me to contact the nearest dealer immediately. After five years a couple more weeks to get it dealt with (the dealers have been inundated) at the end of the month won’t hurt.
