A busking piper on Stroud High Street
I could hear the piper's music from the Shambles Indoor Market, so I took my camera with me when I went to the bank to get some change. On the way back up the hill towards the market , which is in the church hall along the Shambles running away to the left, I caught the eye of the piper and asked if I could take a picture.
My second ' exposure' coincided with this gentleman having leant down to donate some coins, but I must admit he does look in an odd position. I don't think it lasted for more than a second. I made a contribution and then went back to work, with a blip in my pocket. The street looks remarkable empty. Fridays aren't very busy anymore but this is quite unrepresentative.
