Cake!

So, day 2 of my ‘holiday at home’ week off.

Went with friend I to the garden centre. Artificial Christmas trees, singing reindeer (not real ones) and an oddly large selection of wooden nutcracker soldiers…?

We fled to the cafe, which has an impressive cake cabinet, as you can see!

Later in town we visited a rather disconcerting but clever art installation where older Jersey residents were heard telling snippets of memories through vintage telephones, with various props to echo those stories. The artist is Thomas Buckley. It certainly left an impression.
