Winter sunrise

The tide's coming in and all is unusually calm.

Long may it continue, but I was glad for my warm jacket, gloves and gum boots this morning on the dog walk. 
Just after I took the photo, a man appeared with his dog. The dog was fussing  about my dogs, and mine were preparing for some sort of pincer movement attack, so I reversed and headed the other way. 

Some days, you just need a quick and quiet walk with minimal drama, don't you?
