To The Atlas Gallery
November, having five Tuesdays, gave the Photo Society an opportunity to squeeze in an extra meeting. Because a recent speaker, Syd Shelton, was exhibiting at a small show called The Black Triangle in the Atlas Gallery, Marylebone.
The exhibition included a powerful range of images taken by various photographers during the civil rights and anti-racist movements in the UK, USA and South Africa.
After the gallery closed we went for a low light photography walkabout in the local streets and mews courts. As always happens on these events it was fascinating to compare notes afterwards in the pub and to see the wide variety of subjects that had caught our eye.
Here is our friendly group. Fancy joining us sometime?
