View from The High Peak Trail

A walk from Middleton Top out along the High Peak Trail on a day that got better as the miles stacked up.  

The light at certain times was lovely, though I didn't have the time to do it justice.  In the end we completed over 12 miles including some lumpy sections once we left the old railway line and headed back towards the car.  This is an area we haven't walked near before so it was interesting to see new sights.  There were some interesting rocky outcrops which reminded me of dartmoor's tors.
