Early start

As Miss PHL needed to go into school today, I offered to pick her up and take her there to prevent her having to walk too much. It meant an early start to get to the other side of town before 8 so she could be at school by 8.30. I was up at 6.30 and crept around trying not to wake either Phin or Mr PHL! I obviously did a good job as Phin didn’t stir until Mr PHL went down about 8.30x

Made it to pick her up in good time to get to the school by 8.30 and was consequently at Mission HQ before 9. Plenty of time for coffee and a bacon roll before we collected up the volunteers.

A reasonably good day; applications are ramping up but gifts are starting to be donated so we’re in a good place, slightly ahead of where we were this time last year.

Miss PHL coped ok at school and got a life back to our house by her dad. Treated us to steak and chips for dinner which was enjoyed by us all, including Phin who couldn’t get enough of the lettuce in our diy Caesar salad.

Found this wee Christmas ornament in a shop at lunchtime and loved the wee tiny trees in a decoration. Thanks to davidc for hosting TinyTuesday.
