This morning in another lifetime

I had planned an afternoon of travel to get to a two day work meeting (this is the problem getting a job due a company based 270 miles away) so I felt I could spend a few hours this morning pottering and taking Rosie for a nicer than normal walk. Am
Ever so pleased I did, my trip ended up being 7.5 hours door to door including delayed trains (before it even left Worthing) leaving to missed trains, big accidents leading to closed roads and traffic jams.

Here I am though, in the middle of nowhere an hour outside Preston. My colleagues got in their cab an hour before me and aren’t here yet so things could have been worse…..

PS obvs forgot to pack knickers. Have washed knickers from today and placed on radiator. What an idiot.
