On the Bridge

On the way to football. Not the best of games, personally or for the whole of our team. Scored just the one, and created a good goal early on but didn't make the most of my chances. I wasn't the only one as our team made too many mistakes all over the pitch and lost by a couple in the end. The World Cup is underway - England started very well and Wales came back to draw with USA but the tournament and FIFA continue to demonstrate why the tournament shouldn't have been awarded to Qatar, rowing back on previous assurances about what would be acceptable the the tournament. Team captains threatened with sporting sanctions to prevent them wearing rainbow armbands, Welsh fans having rainbow hats confiscated on their way into the ground. Not good.
