Grey Heron

The young one met me on the grass again. I was about half way through feeding her when I spotted a woman with a dog. She called the dog over and put it on a lead and walked around us at a safe distance. I had just started feeding her again when a lab not on a leash charged  towards her and she flew of to the water edge. I went over and finished feeding her. In the distance I could see the male waiting so I headed off there. I gave him his feed then headed for home. They were very hungry today. There was also no sign of the other 2 who I assume are now on the other side of the loch. If it freezes over I may need to seek them out as feeding will be hard for them.
