snowdrops

I bought two new lenses for my new camera at opposite ends of the spectrum. A 100-400 telephoto which has a rather small maximum aperture and a 45mm Lensbaby sol with a fixed 3.5 aperture. I took this with me to Myddleton House today to have a go at some flower photography. Its fairly fiddly to focus , completely manual, and as I added a close-up filter, gives  a very small DOF.  Was pleased to see some snowdrops already out.
