Great Tit ( Parus major )

The main occupation of the day was trying to rectify various problems.  Two were solvable one wasn't, I could replace a light bulb and fir a battery in the smoke detector, I couldn't find the fault in one of the heaters.

Stuck for a blip so a few shots of birds in the garden.  This is a male Great Tit.  You can't see it in this shot but the black stripe down the centre of the breast is wider and darker in males than in females.
