The cardinal rule . . .

This is a lucky-to-get picture of the cardinal that comes to visit for black sunflower seeds. Just love the colors. That is a profusion of basil in the background in all its various stages (including dead), and red leaf kale under the bright red cardinal. This morning the red headed, white neck, grey body cardinal also came calling. He must be feeding somewhere else as well as he was pretty fearless of me.
