Suddenly Green

This morning there was just a hint of green in the trees. By afternoon you could truly say the leaves had popped. This was taken at the Arboretum. The Aspen (or maybe birch) is my one tree taken from the opposite direction.

I attended a gardening talk by Paul James this evening. He had been the host of the"Gardening by the Yard" show on HGTV for 19 seasons. There were many people in attendance who were very excited to hear him. I don't think I ever watched the show. But he was quite entertaining and answered a lot of gardening questions from the crowd.

I took Anna to the airport this morning, she is in Florida for a few days. Happy 60th anniversary to my parents today! A party is being planned for July.
