What a cold morning! 

1ºc when I got up. Frosty. But sunny too, so it was nice to have a proper late autumn day. 

Like most Mondays, getting some housework done was my main morning activity. 

After that I walked into the town centre to go to the library and have lunch at the church cafe. The walk was brisk because although the temperature had crept up to 6ºc by then, an easterly wind made it feel colder. 70 minutes of walking in that super fresh air made me feel quite virtuous afterwards. 

The rest of my week is starting to take shape nicely, and with Monday going according to plan (so far) I may allow myself a few moments of cautious optimism. 

I got my Blip as I emerged from the church, refreshed and warmed by the butternut squash soup.
