Best yet
The sourdough made with 50% wheat and 50% spelt flours is delicious and the best I’ve baked so far. The spelt gives it a slightly nuttier flavour and a slightly more spongy texture. It is definitely repeatable.
Lunch was three slices of sourdough with feta (the cheese in the photo) on top. It did me nicely.
Bean has had a good day: I gave her a huge bone which she has been gnawing, burying and digging up all day. Currently she’s unconscious; exhausted by her exertions.
